Today, Nikon announces its upcoming entry-level DSLR, the D3100.  This new model contains many upgrades from other entry-level Nikon DSLRs.  Some upgrades include the 14MP CMOS sensor, 3fps, and what everyone has been asking for, continuous auto-focus while video recording.  Nikon takes a big step with this camera, as it reveals a preview of what’s to come in their other upcoming cameras.  The Nikon D3100 will begin to ship out in September and will be priced around $700 with an 18-55 kit lens.
