Come one, come all!! Los Angeles and Orange County catering trucks has become a huge trend in many foodie circles these days. I know most of us can agree there is a sense of thrill when it comes down to finding these scrumptious mobile treats. But, what if there was a way to have it all at once?! Good thing for all us the OC Foodie Fest is coming at the end of this month. On August 28, 2010, the grounds of the Honda Center in Anaheim will be the epicenter for the catering truck enthusiast. Starting at 11:30 am till 7:00 pm the OC Restaurant Association will host over 50 different catering trucks who generally service the LA/OC area. Along with delicious goodness, there is will be a variety of local entertainment like Beat Freaks from America’s Best Dance Crew to bands like Dusty Rhodes and the River Band.

Along with great food and entertainment, by coming to the OC Foodie Fest a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charities in the Orange County area. Even one of the catering trucks, Cart for a Cause, gives back to the community. This unique partnership with St. Vincent DePaul and world renown chefs from the Los Angeles area give 100% of its’ proceeds from Carts for a Cause to feed people who may not have the means to eat on a daily basis.

For price of $12 a person for pre-sale admission and $15 at the door, you will have access to a buffet of the best catering trucks in this business! If you want to get that extra special experience, they are offering a VIP package for $50 which includes access to an exclusive section of catering trucks, early admission to the event, sampling of food offerings, an exclusive tented area for entertainment viewing, a goodie bag lots of free items, and much more!

Just a few tips to remember, this event is getting popular so my suggestion is to buy tickets pre-sale on the ocfoodiefest.com website. Also, the whole event is cash only so be prepared and bring lots of cash!
